San Carlos Park is located in the most southern part of Fort Myers, right near the border of Estero. Covering about 5 square miles, the neighborhood reaches from Three Oaks Parkway to Tamiami Trail/41, with entrances from Alico Blvd, 41, and Three oaks. Being 10 minutes from the Southwest Florida international airport, tons of dining and grocery stores within a few minutes. You’re only about 30 minutes to both Bonita beach and Fort Myers Beach. Giving you the best of both worlds. There are multiple shopping plazas within a 10 minute drive such as Gulf Coast town Center, Miromar outlets, Coconut Pointe Mall, and for a few extra minutes you can reach Bell Tower.
Most homes prices in San Carlos range from the 200k’s, to the upper $500ks, with a few exceptions. With about 6,000 households here, San Carlos Park has over 18,000 people in the neighborhood. Made up of mainly single-family homes, and has plenty of investment opportunities with multi family properties. There are some condos and villas outside of the golf course.
Within the community there is a public professional golf course. San Carlos Park also has a county maintained Children’s Park, as well as a community pool.
San Carlos is only about 10 minutes to Florida Gulf Coast University, and about 20 minutes to Florida Southwestern State College. Public Schools Nearby Include San Carlos Elementary, Three Oaks Elementary, Three Oaks Middle, Pinewoods Elementary, Rayma C Page Elementary, And Estero High School. Here in Lee County we do have what’s called school choice so though they’re multiple public schools surrounding San Carlos Park, you will need apply for the school of choosing.
